Supersapiens

On-going Design Support

I’ve been working as a Senior Designer with the Supersapiens team since 2021, as the go-to design support across brand, digital, and print. Supersapiens offer a fitness-focused approach to CGM technology, partnering with Abbot Libre Sense to give users real-time insights to their glucose control. This is a data-focused system that allows anyone with a fitness goal to have a deeper insight to their nutrition, performance, and recovery – available on their phone.

Identity System

Since joining the team I’ve been protecting and overseeing the brand’s identity system, whilst also looking opportunities to develop and experiment. The visual style is very refined and calculated, with minimal layouts and a mostly black and white palette – that also features blue, red, and green. However when creating individual campaign concepts, we look to push the tools a little further with new styles that support key storytelling and messaging.

Social Assets

Regular tasks include keeping up-to-date with the social team – making sure they have all social posts, headers, and campaign content needed for the social channel posts. These can include data visuals to support blogs, partnerships with other brands, and new integration promotions.

Other Projects

As well as brand, social, and website, I’ve also worked with the team to produce app/product UI screens, cycling kits (and other merchandise), and packaging designs too. These are a great change of pace that allow us apply the identity system in new ways.

Brand Portal

One of the most valuable internal tools at Supersapiens, is our brand portal. This is an online resource that allows team members, partners, and media to access everything necessary when discussing the brand. It features a walkthrough of the founding story, technology, system, and products; as well as functional kits such as our logo files, colour palette, patterns, product mockups, and more.
